The location is the best, short walk to Shinnomiya train station and many restaurants and other attractions. we enjoyed the lake, located within 10 mins walk of the hotel.

I like that I can open the windows and let the cool air in during winter, because I dont like the heater. The staff is very accommodating and the hotel is very near the train station. The rooms are also very simple yet clean and the bathroom is always upgraded. i had to check out from monterey and i stayed for one night at the portopia hotel, because monterey was full on a saturday, and it was not the same. the other hotel was not as good. so i returned the next day to monterey.

All the services were excellent. Booked a room with lovely views of a zen garden on one side of the buffet room. The breakfast had a huge variety of good options, and was solid and great. The location was marvellous and gorgeous, for example, Ikuta Shrine was not too far away from the hotel.

The room we stayed in was spacious, featuring a double bed and a coin exchange machine.

Our king room was decently sized on the 11th floor. the location was convenient and the best, near Sannomiya, the main central rail station in Kobe, other attractions, the train station.

Enjoyed my time there; the breakfast is solid, and the standard twin room with a double bed offers good service.

The hotel is spotless and comfortable. the breakfast offers a great selection of options. the staff is very amiable and sincere. the hotel has an incredible location close to bars, restaurants, and the Sannomiya subway.

The location was great - adjacent to the shopping area of Sannomiya right next to Ikuta temple, and Kobe's entertainment district. We had goodies and coffee at Tea Room Mahisa Motomachi, it was located really close to the venue.

Booked a room with lovely views of the town and bay. the location was great and gorgeous. - Ikuta Shrine was just a short stroll away from the hotel. - A shopping area and all the main shops were right next door.

The room was spacious with a comfortable double bed, making for a great experience, and the amenities like a personal safe, air conditioner, and electronic key card were handy.

We were impressed by the beautiful and well-designed courtyard and lobby of this hotel. The room we stayed in was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Despite being close to the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel was surprisingly quiet. We loved the hotel's location as it was conveniently close to both the train station and subway, making it easy for us to commute around the city. The staff were also extremely friendly and willing to assist with any requests we had.
